Embrace your Calling

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Ephesians 4:1 KJV

EMBRACE YOUR CALLING.

I have being rejected and people have hated me for this single truth I want to share with you. (I'm  already used to haters).

Irrespective of the lack of people in any church department, we must be careful never to force people to join any department. Salvation or the Kingdom of God is not a place of disorder. It's a place of order!

LET EVERY BELIEVER STAY AND SERVE IN THE AREA OF DEPARTMENT GOD HAS CALLED THEM TO SERVE.

Your calling in Christ ought to be the driving factor behind any thing you do in God's Name.

Be careful to separate your hobby from your calling. The fact that you like some thing does not mean you are called to do it.

There is nothing wrong will having hobbies but don't make it a necessity by despising what God has called you to do.

Have you sincerely ask God; Father, what's my calling?

You have being saved to serve! This is not freedom to laziness - this is freedom for responsibility. Jesus redeemed you so you can identify and embrace your calling.

The Holy Spirit is the only person that can reveal your calling to you.

Irrespective of how you serve in any church, even if it's for 30 years, as long as it's not in the calling God has called you to do; you have Wasted your time and effort. God only bless you for what He has called you to do that you did.

God does not just reward or bless your effort, sincerity, sacrifice, and service. God only reward and bless people who identify their calling, stay in it and serve through their effort, sincerity, sacrifice and service.

Workers of iniquity are believers who are doing all the nice and good or even Godly things GOD NEVER CALLED THEM TO DO.

It can be Godly but as long as that is not what God has called you to do, it's a waste!

It's not about the praise of your pastor. It's not about how people appreciate what you are doing in Church. It's not about your sacrifice and effort. IT'S ABOUT YOU DOING WHAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO.

An usher in church, doing what God has called him or her to do (ushering) has the same respect God will place on a pastor or an Apostle doing what God has called them to do (pastoring or the work of an Apostle).

It's not about the assignment people respect the more. It's not about title. IT'S ABOUT YOU DOING WHAT God has called you to do.

If your calling is public speaking; do it to please the Lord. If your calling is graphic designing; design to reveal God's creativity. If it is shoe making; do it with excellent. Whatsoever your calling is; be committed to it even if no body values you.

God who has called you is Faithful and He will reward you.

Be encouraged!
Be inspired!

Peace!

Understanding the Role of the Holy Spirit

In our journey of faith, we are often guided by the presence and workings of the Holy Spirit. As followers of Christ, it is essential for us to understand the primary duty of the Holy Spirit and discern its manifestations in our lives. The Holy Spirit, as promised by Jesus, is our advocate, counselor, and guide (John 14:16). One of its fundamental roles is to reveal God's plan to us through various means, including scriptures, dreams, prophecy, and vision. Through these channels, the Holy Spirit illuminates our path and empowers us to walk in alignment with God's will. However, it is crucial to discern the source of spiritual manifestations. While the Holy Spirit operates to glorify God and align us with His purposes, there are other spirits at work, such as familiar spirits, whose intent is to deceive and lead astray. How do we discern the workings of the Holy Spirit from those of familiar spirits? The key lies in examining the motives and outcomes of the spiritual experiences...
