The Holy Spirit is not merely a doctrine you believe or a presence you acknowledge during church services. He is the Spirit of truth, your Helper, Teacher and Guide. Jesus said, “He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance” (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit desires to minister to you in your decisions, relationships, calling, ministry and daily walk with Christ. But you must learn to become conscious of His presence and sensitive to His dealings. There are moments when you are asking God for direction while ignoring the One Jesus sent to guide you. You may be waiting for a dramatic sign, another prophecy or someone to tell you what to do, while the Holy Spirit is already prompting your heart. Jesus said, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13).
