The Power of Being Conscious to the Holy Spirit

Being a disciple of Jesus requires more than hearing about the Holy Spirit; it requires conscious awareness of His presence. Spiritual consciousness means actively tuning your heart and mind to the Holy Spirit’s voice, prompts, and direction. The more aware you are, the more clearly He can operate through you to accomplish God’s purposes.

When you remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit, you notice His guidance in ordinary moments: a word in prayer, a thought in your mind, or a conviction in your heart. Disciples who are alert to the Holy Spirit’s leading walk with confidence, knowing that they are not alone in their decisions, ministry, or daily life.

Your spiritual senses strengthen as you practice listening, discerning, and obeying. Like Jesus trained His disciples, the Holy Spirit sharpens your perception so that you can respond with wisdom, boldness, and compassion. This consciousness is the key to understanding how the Kingdom of God operates in and through you.

Remember, spiritual awareness is not passive; it requires intentional focus and discipline. The more you engage with the Holy Spirit daily, the more your life will reflect the fruit and power of Christ in practical ways, impacting others for His glory.

Assessment Questions:

1. In what ways can you cultivate greater awareness of the Holy Spirit in your daily life?

2. How does spiritual consciousness affect your decisions and interactions as a disciple of Jesus?

HOW THE HOLY SPIRIT SURVIVES

The Holy Spirit is not just a spirit being alone. He is a person that wants to relate with you and fellowship with you. He is the expression of the Spirit of the Father. And the only way to have access to the Holy Spirit is in you being born again under the authority of Jesus. Just like humans can't survive without an oxygen, so the Holy Spirit can not function or exist outside the Scriptures. The word of God is the only life He survives on and it is the only tool He uses for operation. There is nothing the Holy Spirit can do outside the scriptures. He can not do anything of his own expect the scriptures creates a possibility of it. The best way to relate with the Holy Spirit is through the scriptures and if you lack the knowledge of the scriptures, you won't understand the operation of the Holy Spirit. Whatsoever belongs to the Father, belongs to Jesus and the Holy Spirit will always take what belongs to the Jesus and make it know to you. The first duty of the Holy Spirit is t...
