How Conscious Are You of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is not merely a doctrine you believe or a presence you acknowledge during church services. He is the Spirit of truth, your Helper, Teacher and Guide. Jesus said, “He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance” (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit desires to minister to you in your decisions, relationships, calling, ministry and daily walk with Christ. But you must learn to become conscious of His presence and sensitive to His dealings.

There are moments when you are asking God for direction while ignoring the One Jesus sent to guide you. You may be waiting for a dramatic sign, another prophecy or someone to tell you what to do, while the Holy Spirit is already prompting your heart. Jesus said, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). Spiritual sensitivity begins when you stop treating His presence as an occasional experience and begin cultivating fellowship with Him.

Your expectation also matters. When you approach God with a heart that genuinely desires His help, you become more attentive to His instruction. This does not mean forcing yourself to hear a voice or interpreting every feeling as the Holy Spirit. It means developing a disciplined relationship with Him through Scripture, prayer, obedience and spiritual discernment. The more you submit your thoughts and decisions to God's Word, the more you learn to recognize what agrees with His character and truth.

Perhaps you have been asking, “Holy Spirit, help me,” but have you created room to listen after you ask? Have you become so busy with your own conclusions that you no longer recognize His correction? Fellowship requires both speaking and listening. Sometimes His help will come through Scripture. Sometimes through godly wisdom. Sometimes through conviction, restraint or a clear understanding that brings peace and alignment with God's Word.

Become conscious of the Holy Spirit. Expect Him to help you, but never separate His leading from the truth of Scripture. He will not lead you into what contradicts Jesus or the Word of God. Cultivate fellowship with Him daily, and allow Him to teach you how to discern His promptings, obey His instructions and walk in truth. Your journey with God was never designed to be navigated by human wisdom alone. Jesus gave you the Holy Spirit so that you can walk with divine help, divine understanding and divine direction.

Hope Expression Values You

HOW THE HOLY SPIRIT SURVIVES

The Holy Spirit is not just a spirit being alone. He is a person that wants to relate with you and fellowship with you. He is the expression of the Spirit of the Father. And the only way to have access to the Holy Spirit is in you being born again under the authority of Jesus. Just like humans can't survive without an oxygen, so the Holy Spirit can not function or exist outside the Scriptures. The word of God is the only life He survives on and it is the only tool He uses for operation. There is nothing the Holy Spirit can do outside the scriptures. He can not do anything of his own expect the scriptures creates a possibility of it. The best way to relate with the Holy Spirit is through the scriptures and if you lack the knowledge of the scriptures, you won't understand the operation of the Holy Spirit. Whatsoever belongs to the Father, belongs to Jesus and the Holy Spirit will always take what belongs to the Jesus and make it know to you. The first duty of the Holy Spirit is t...

How To War With Prophecy

Prophecy is a ministry and ministry is the activity that demand you to SERVE. In other words, the greatest prophet or prophetess is still a servant, that must SERVE the body of Christ. A prophet or prophetess is human like you but given a unique Grace of God to know and see the intention of God about any matters. They only operate through Revelation and the only inspiration of prophecy is THE WORD OF GOD Prophecy is the product of the WORD OF GOD revealing the interest of God about any situation. Word of wisdom is God revealing a problem either now or in future and giving an instruction on how you should handle it....in future. Its future centered. Word of knowledge is God revealing a problem that started in the past and giving instruction on how to solve it in the present. Prophecy is the written or spoken intention of God about the present and future. When can b...
